Hans Arnold

Hans Arnold (born in Sursee, Switzerland, 22 April 1925) is an artist, living and working in Sweden since 1948. He has made illustrations for many magazines and books. He is best known for his illustrations for the Bland tomtar och troll books.
Arnold had a very strict Catholic education, with strong belief in heaven and hell. As a small boy, Arnold used to play the violin. Arnold began drawing caricatures of his teachers in school and sold them to his friends.
