Hannah Logasa

Hannah Logasa was a figure in early 20th century library science. She was the daughter of Ukrainian immigrant, Seth Moses Logasa. She had a brother, the famous painter Charles Logasa and her Mother was Ida Ruth Logasa. There was another sister Jenny Deana "Logasa" Bogen as well as half sisters-Julia and Bertha and half brother. Her other siblings are Sam and half brother Max. She worked both at the University of Chicago and the University of Nebraska. She was known for her series of indexes to short stories, plays, and non-fiction. Additionally she is credited with proposing the introduction of the soy bean to Israel and the creation of the first primary school library.
