Hank Bennett

Hank Bennett is a fictional character on NBC's daytime drama Passions. Hank was played by both Dalton James from 20 August 1999 to 10 January 2001 and Ryan McPartlin from 24 April 2001 to 18 June 2004 before dropping off the canvas.

Hank is the son of former Harmony police chief Benjamin Bennett and his wife Margaret Joyce Bennett and younger brother of current police chief Sam Bennett. Hank is much younger than Sam and Sam has always been more like a father than a brother. Hank's best friend growing up was Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. Hank was always something of a ladies man in school while Luis was dating Beth Wallace.

Hank left Harmony after high school and travelled the world. It is known that he once used the alias Jack Gallagher and that he had run ins with the law. Hank briefly dated Sheridan Crane. Hank seemed to vanish from Harmony in 2004. His current whereabouts are unknown.

In the book Hidden Passions, Hank's parents are Benjamin Bennett and Margaret Joyce. He and Sam have at least two more brothers. Information in the book has not been confirmed on-screen and is not considered to be official since the information seen on the show contradicts much of what was said in the book.
