The Hanwha Eagles (한화 이글스) are a professional baseball team based in Daejeon City, South Korea. Founded in 1986, they are a member of the Korean Baseball Organization and compete in the annual KBO Championship. Their only Korean Series Championship victory was achieved in 1999, when they were part of the now-defunct Magic League. The team's home ground is Daejeon Baseball Stadium. Total seating for the stadium is 13,242.

Their principal sponsor, Hanwha (한화), is a chaebol (conglomerate) which specializes in electronics.

The team's mascot is a red eagle, which symbolizes both "fire" and the "sun". The red color, or "fire", represents the Hanwha conglomerate and the eagle represents the "sun", as the eagle may take off for the sun and achieve great success.
