Hanging Basket Tree

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hanging basket tree is a vertical frame construct that is used to suspend a number of decorative floral hanging baskets from.

[edit] Structure

Such frames are usually made out of steel, consisting of a base, and a central pole, from which a number of branches come off at right angles, or more decoratively, peeling off, on 'r' curves.

[edit] Use

Hanging basket trees are often used in garden centres or similar departments in larger homecare outlets, where space is at a premium, and baskets ready planted with bedding varieties are a major priority for display.

Otherwise, a tree is sometimes erected in private gardens or on displays, where they are preferred aesthetically, or there are a lack of conventional basket fixtures.
