Handball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Handball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top handball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The league is composed of 12 teams. The champion is seeded into the Champions League. The winner of the league cup is seeded into the Cup Winner's Cup.
The league is operated by the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

League championship started in 2001/2002 season in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Clubs from Republika Srpska joined the league next season. In 1998, 1999. and 2000, play-off was organized since there were three separated leagues, based on ethnical principles.
In 2000, for the first time, clubs from Republika Srpska were included. Next year, there were no play-off.
