- Thanks for the booya! It's nice to be welcomed. Also thanks for moving the criminal inquiry link to Nicoll Highway collapse which I'd missed. Guess I'll be fleshing that stub out a bit with inquiry findings. But on that page: quote "Catherine Tan's father" - Catherine who? --Hamstersanonymous 19:58, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hah its alright. I found it strange why the Circle line page had no links to the Nicoll Highway collapse page, so I am not surprised you didnt find it too. I added that link and moved it, as I faintly recollect seeing that page's existance before. As for Catherine....I think she is the daughter of one of the dead men? The one who's body was recovered...--Huaiwei 05:37, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Guess I'm just nitpicking: that one-off sentence is not expanded upon; she is not well-known figure nor an important figure in the incident. Hence I don't think the name adds any useful information to the article. The same probably goes for "Mr Nuorinthong" - "Thai worker" alone suffices. What do you think? --Hamstersanonymous 09:42, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hm....I just read the article, and I realise what you mean. Yes...the sentence on Catherine sounds strange. Listing the names of the deceased and a litle on their background shold be more then enough. but as for the Thai guy's name, perhaps we can leave it as it is (preferably with the presumption that the entire article is xpanded), as we dont want to be accused of being "elitist" or even "racist"? :D--Huaiwei 15:59, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Am working on expanding/rewording the article atm, see my sandbox. Mr Nuorinthong isn't the only person who recounted Mr Heng's bravery, and he isn't an important figure in the investigation; I thought substituted with " survivor accounts" is pretty sufficient. - Hoho...then we shall revisit this issue after the new version is done? Thanks for all the effort! ;) --Huaiwei 09:02, 24 July 2005 (UTC)
