Hampton's "Tradition of Excellence" is known throughout Western Pennsylvania for their superior level of schooling. As it's website says ([1]): A "Tradition of Excellence" is more than just the District’s slogan. It embodies the character of Hampton’s staff, students and community. It signifies that Hampton provides the means for students to grow both academically and personally so that they may realize their full potential and become assets to the community, country and world.
This township also boasts the encouragements of multiple civic virtues such as Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness, Cooperation, Tolerance, Courtesy, Truthfulness, Perseverance, Diligence, Friendship, Self-discipline and Respect. They celebrate these fine attributes by featuring a different virtue each month throughout the year.
