Hampton Dellinger

Hampton Dellinger is a North Carolina lawyer who is a candidate for the 2008 Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina. [1] While this would be Dellinger's first run for elective office, he has held state government posts under Mike Easley when the latter served as North Carolina Attorney General and later as Governor.
Dellinger is the son of law professor and former Acting Solicitor General of the United States Walter Dellinger.
