Hampshire Mall

The Hampshire Mall is a one story shopping mall in the Hadley, Massachusetts metropolitan area of the United States with approximately 55 stores. It is frequented particularly by the students who attend the Five Colleges and is accessible by buses which run between the campuses. It is currently anchored by Target, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Best Buy. The mall opened 1978 with anchors JC Penney, Steigers and K-Mart (that was expanded from 66,000 square feet to 91,000 square feet in 1994) which closed in the Spring of 2002 and was subsequently demolished and rebuilt into a 126,000 sq.ft. Target that opened in the Fall of 2003. A 45,000 sq.ft. Dick's Sporting Goods opened in a part of the mall that had several closed stores in early 2005 and Best Buy replaced Media Play in early 2005. The mall also has a Ground Round restaurant, a food court with six eateries and a rollerskating rink. Steiger's, a local department store chain, had a store in this mall from 1978 until 1994. The Hampshire Mall is also home to Cinemark Theaters, a 12 screen, stadium seating movie theater, which opened in 2000 after replacing the older six screen theater.

The Hampshire Mall is located on Route 9 in Hadley, Massachusetts between Amherst and Northampton. It is off I-91 at Exit 19.
