Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, is headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. It was formed from the merger of Hamilton Standard and Sundstrand Corporation in 1999. It supplies aerospace and industrial products to the global market.

Hamilton Sundstrand supplies electric and other systems for military, commercial, regional, and corporate aircraft in addition to international space programs such as NASA, most notably as the prime contractor for the Primary Life Support System used on the current shuttle/EMU spacesuit. HS also supplies mining and processing equipment. In addition to its headquarters in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, Hamilton Sundstrand has major operations in Rockford, Illinois; Pomona, California; Phoenix, Arizona; and Puerto Rico along with numerous international sites.

United Technologies' other subsidiaries are Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky Aircraft, Otis Elevator Company, Carrier Corporation, UTC Power, and UTC Fire & Security.
