The Hamilton Mall is a major shopping destination in Mays Landing, in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. Opened in 1987, the two-story enclosed mall is anchored by J.C. Penney, Macy's and Sears. The mall is adjecant to the Black Horse Pike (U.S. Route 322) and U.S. Highway 40, and is close to the Atlantic City Expressway and Atlantic City, making it a high tourist destination for vacationers there. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1,028,500 ft²[1].
The mall's food court has many dining choices, including Chick-fil-A, Friendly's, Taco Bell, and Ruby Tuesday. Financial services include an Executive Cash Service Center and various Bank of America ATM machines. The mall has over 140 stores. It is the largest mall in the Atlantic County region.
[edit] Anchors
There was to be a fourth, unnamed anchor store located at the north side of the mall (facing the Atlantic City Race Track) but no store ever moved in. The empty space can be seen from the outside parking lots and entrances. The would-be anchor could have had space for two levels or two anchors, one on each level of the mall. It was long-since speculated that possibly a movie theater would move in or Steinbach's, but with the later having gone out of business and a large cinema being built less than a mile away, it's likely that space will forever be vacant.
