Hamburger University

Hamburger University is a 130,000 square foot (12,000 m²) training facility of McDonald's Corporation, located at 2815 Jorie Blvd. in Oak Brook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The 'university' was designed to instruct personnel employed by McDonald's in the various aspects of the business. The institution has 'graduated' over 70,000 managers and has 30 resident 'professors'.
Hamburger University was founded in 1961, at a McDonald's restaurant in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Class sizes today are over 200 students per class on average.
