  • Before saving a page, it's a good idea to use the Show preview button to review your edits. Also, consider writing a summary for each edit.
  • The Tutorial is a great way to learn the basics in a more perspicuous fashion.

Again, welcome! Chris Roy 01:15, 3 May 2004 (UTC)

Hello. In re Brand New: please note that the title word or title phrase should be highlighted at its first appearance, like this. (I've made the correction in that article.) Michael Hardy 23:37, 15 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Okay, will do in future. Halo 14:01, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Re:brand New

Thats the format of most of the articles for bands on here, I see no reason to remove it. Reiver 15:51, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Moving articles on afd

If you move an article that's on afd, please make sure that it still points at the discussion instead of a redlink; this helps the discussion be found if you stumble across the article (or actually wrote it), instead of just reading afd. You can do this either by making a redirect (as I've done at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Commission Junction), or by editing the link in the afd notice. —Cryptic (talk) 15:44, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Jonah's comment

From my former user page: this place is neat! thx for tips, i'm just barely learning. see you around :)

Woo, my God. :)

[edit] SEGA Genesis cleanup

Hey Halo! Thanks for cleaning up the SEGA Genesis article by creating a sub-page for the standard console variations. That helped a lot. Ben 08:35, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to VandalProof!

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Halo! You have now been added to the list of authorized users, so if you haven't already, simply download and install VandalProof from our main page. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or any other moderator, or you can post a message on the discussion page. Computerjoe's talk 17:10, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minor edits

Sorry about that i had changed preferences when I had to do 80 odd edits after modification of a new project template. Gnangarra 12:52, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Brand New

No problem - I enjoy vandalism patrol. As for Bballbuck, I think he and the other vandals might be sockpuppets of the original vandal - he's had only one edit (this one). Also, if changing alternative rock to death metal isn't blatant vandalism, I don't know what is. Thanks! -Orayzio 21:23, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Halo fan?

Hey, I've seen iur username is Halo, iu 've got to be a player, wanna play someday???--WalterHumala wanna talk? 04:13, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jesus Christ

I am actually close friends with the band's manager and he told me that they purposely wrote it as "Jesus" with "JC" then written over the top of it to cause confusion. He maintains that the song's official title is actually "Jesus Christ." Minusthesnake 15:51, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

Brand New probably doesn't like grammar. I have to because I have SAT's coming up. Sorry about that edit. --Russ is the sex 05:23, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Halo, the inlay on the CD is far from an official track list. In fact, it seems more like side info on who contributed what to what song, considering how some songs are on there more than once, and none of them are numbered. On the discussion page of "TDaGaRIM" I've included a link to the official Brand New Merch Store (which I found on their page www.fightoffyourdemons.com) which has a track list. iTunes also has this track list. The version of the tracks you have is incorrect, and I invite you to go check out the links I've posted. Please stop correcting something that is accurate. If you would like to reach me another way, respond on the discussion page and I will give you my e-mail address. Thanks

[edit] Removal of table in Hellogoodbye

I was just going to list all the guidelines but since you already replied back, my last five minutes of work are wasted. Thank you very much... :D Well, here they are anyway...

I removed the table because Wikipedia:Fair use criteria states under §3 that "[t]he amount of copyrighted work used should be as little as possible" and (more importantly) under $8 that it "must not serve a purely decorative purpose". Also, the WikiProject Music guidelines WP:MUSTARD advises to "not use album covers in discographies, as this is an unnecessary use of images and is not compatible with Wikipedia's fair use policy". Have a great day annoying people. :) --HarryCane 14:13, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About your edits to my statement

Hi there - in future please do not edit others statements as you did in Wikipedia:Village pump (policy). This time I wasn't overly fussed, since it was relevant, but in future please don't - it's considered impolite. Thanks! 137.222.10.67 01:52, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conscription Crisis of 1918

Following your "bold move" of Conscription Crisis of 1918 (Ireland) to Conscription Crisis of 1918, you may want to consider following up to fix any/all links to avoid the redirect. I will review/change a few as I go, but it is appropriate to follow-up a "bold move" with the "grunt work" to avoid mislinked articles... Guliolopez 11:32, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Very conscientious of you (pardon the pun) for running through all that and updating the links. Cheers and thanks. Guliolopez 20:05, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Incorrect altering of Brand New

The bot altered the album name "Deja Entendu" to the incorrect Déjà Entendu. It should check for capitalisation/real names before doing such alterations. -Halo 20:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for that, I've added it to my exception list. Cheers, CmdrObot 20:54, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
