[edit] Actionbioscience
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Actionbioscience, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - To elucidate a little further, You really must have third party sources, published or web, newspaper, magazine, whatever. Anything in the formal educational literature would be good.(The scientific american one is OK, but it must be cited more exactly: Title of the article talking about it, and the month and year and pages.)
- This is the basic criterion, and they article will surely be deleted without them. Furthermore the language of the article sounds like advertising copy. Change it to describe what you did or do. , not how good or important it is, but do not copy it from the web site.
- I see from the website that the organization is indeed important, so I will help you if needed. Do what you can, and I will check here tomorrow. . I will remove the tag as soon as there's enough real material in more encyclopedic language. DGG 06:02, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
I did add the source citation to the site, but I am not sure how to go about rewriting the description -- any help would be appreciated. -- I get that I shouldn't copy from the website, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "Change it to describe what you did or do, not how good or important it is," -- I'm a teacher who has read and used the articles in Actionbioscience for teaching, but I don't think that's what anyone wants me to write in Wikipedia. Thanks for your patience in this matter -- I am a 'newbie' to Wikipedia (probably somewhat obviously), so am just learning the rules and lingo -- thanks! 03:20, 4 March 2007 (UTC) Halle akala 03:21, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
