[edit] Natural Organochloride?

I was under the impression that there were no natural organochlorides, with the exception of some rare slightly halogenated fatty acids. Is there evidence to show that Halomon is actually created by the algae and not absorbed from the surroundings? Is there an actual enzyme that chlorinates this molecule? If so, I think there should be a category of natural organohalides. --Karuna8 16:12, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
