Hallward Library

The Hallward Library is the principal library of the University of Nottingham, England located on the University Park Campus. The award winning library, known to some students as the Death Star, was opened in 1972. It was designed by the architect H Faulkner-Brown and won a RIBA prize. It is named after Dr Bertrand Hallward, first Vice-Chancellor of the University.
It houses the University's Arts, Humanities, Law and Social Sciences collections and a European Documentation Centre. The University's Department of Manuscripts and Special Collections is now housed at the King's Meadow Campus.
