The Halifax River is a section of the Florida Intracoastal Waterway spanning the length of Volusia County, Florida, United States, connecting to the Mosquito Lagoon and Ponce de Leon Inlet at its southern end. Some cities it passes through are Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and Port Orange.

There are approximately nine bridges along the river, including four bascule bridges.
