Halifax, Nova Scotia railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Halifax railway station in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is located directly adjacent to the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in downtown Halifax, one of the original railroad hotels owned by Canadian National Railways. Via Rail operates a daily train, the Ocean, from Halifax to Montreal [1], and a weekly train, the Bras d'Or, from Halifax to Sydney during the summer tourist season [2]. The Ocean was introduced in 1904 to provide first-class rail passage between Halifax and Montreal, and has been running for over a century.
