The talented starlet came out her mother's womb five weeks earlier than was originally planned. At the very early age of three, she was dancing in local studios. Four years later at the age of seven, she was dancing her own freestyle dances in talent shows. Her love of center stage led her to attend acting classes and under the recommendation of a teacher, her parents started to look for an agent. Almost immediately, she signed an agency contract. Haley started to audition for independent films and commercials all around Texas. At the same age, she started to appear in commercials nationwide such as Hasbro and Dell computers. She enjoys to break down in characters and directors quickly praise her amazing acting skills. In 2003, age 10, Haley has appeared in two American Girl cover shoots for the May and June issues. In 2004, she acted in the movie Seventy-8 as April Rowlands. The movie was premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival.

When she began acting in more films, it made her family members showed their excitement. When moving to Los Angeles at age 11, her parents and brother stayed behind because of family problems. She was not sad, because her agents and coaches supported her. Six weeks later, since moving to L.A., she found a manager. Later that month, she was called for a role in movie Flightplanand comedy film Yours, Mine and Ours, and in shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and Yes, Dear.
