Hal Rockland is a former American pornographic actor (porn star) who appeared primarily in gay pornographic movies.

Hal was born on February 11, 1975, in Darmstadt, Germany. He, like his two brothers, grew up in Darmstadt, Germany for 6 years (Vince for 7, Shane for 8), in St. Petersburg, Florida, for 10 months, in San José, Costa Rica, for 3 years (where their half-sister was born in 1983), and in Santiago, Chile for 2 years before settling in Colorado). Hal grew up in a very religious family. His father was a physician with World Vision International, a Christian international aid agency.

He was an amateur body builder before joining the porn industry. He was known for his youthful good looks, a muscular body, and an 9-inch uncircumcised penis. He was the second of three Rockland brothers to join the gay porn industry, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Vince Rockland. The eldest Rockland, Shane Rockland, joined the industry later. All three appeared together in the 1996 gay porn film, Three Brothers. While they appeared together in some scenes, they did not have sex with each other.

In 1994, he won the award for "Best Newcomer" at the Adult Erotic Gay Video Awards for his performance in Flashpoint, a Falcon Studios film.

During the filming of Three Brothers, Hal is said to have had a spiritual re-awakening after a conversation with fellow porn star Ken Ryker. (Ryker had grown up in a devout Mormon family, and his father was a minister.^{[citation needed]}) Hal subsequently quit the industry. By June 2001, he had been married for several years with two children and living in Colorado.

Several subsequent reports have claimed that Hal's "spiritual re-awakening" was an urban myth, and that he has simply taken a break from the industry.
