The HALO Trust is a registered British charity and registered American non-profit organization whose purpose is to remove the debris left behind by war, in particular, landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) that might present a danger to local civilians. HALO is an acronym of Hazardous Area Life-Support Organisation.

HALO operates in nine countries and has over 7,000 mine-clearers. HALO's largest operation is in Afghanistan where the organisation operates as an implementing parter of the United Nations Afghanistan New Beginnings Program (UNANBP).

The organisation was founded by Colin Campbell Mitchell, a British member of Parliament and former Colonel in the British Army.
