Britney Spears' Hair Zone Mall Tour was a 1998 shopping mall tour. Britney did small sets in malls and food courts around the US, mostly in big cities. This tour was also to promote Britney's upcoming debut album ...Baby One More Time. Britney's set was around 30 minutes and she had few dancers with her on the stage. Her record company says that this tour was to prepare Britney for her first major tour. Britney's next tour was being the opening act for the Clean-cut pop boyband *NSYNC. Her performance was much the same on that tour as it was on the Hair Zone tour. This tour is sometimes titled as L'Oreal Mall Tour, because L'Oreal sponsored this tour. The "shopping mall tour" idea worked well for '80s teen pop star Tiffany.
