Haimar Zubeldia Agirre (born April 1, 1977 in Usurbil) is a Basque cyclist who rides for Euskaltel-Euskadi in the UCI ProTour.
Zubeldia became a professional in 1998. Although he hasn't achieved many spectacular wins, he is one of the most consistent riders on the UCI ProTour, recording numerous top 10 placings in the Tour de France and on UCI ProTour. He is a consistent climbing specialist who has achieved numerous top 5 finishes in mountain stages in different tours. His best performance in the Tour de France is a 5th placing in 2003 where he had some great finishes against Lance Armstrong and Jan Ullrich. He is often forgotten, in comparision to fellow Spanish riders such as Alejandro Valverde and Iban Mayo, but Zubeldia is a great rider in many respects and he has been superbly consistent over the years in the Grand Tours and on UCI ProTour.
