Hagenbund
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hagenbund or Künstlerbund Hagen was a group of Austrian artists that formed in 1899.
They named the group using the name of the proprietor, Herr Hagen, of an inn they frequented.
At first they worked within the conservative Vienna Künstlerhaus, but like the Vienna Secession they rebelled against the established Künstlerhaus.
The group included: Joseph Urban (founder)
- Albert Paris Gütersloh
- Franz Wiegele
- Oskar Kokoschka
- Egon Schiele
