[edit] Deathgrind

Hi all.

I deleted the Deathgrind tag, it is not a real genre. it is merely a name for death/grind.. Besides Haemorrhage are a Goregrind band, they have few Death metal elements. I don't think there is need for genres such as this. It only gives confusion.

Don't know if this is worth it's own talk.. but.. i obviously had to rant about this. Darksteel 14:09, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree, removed it again. Meaningful username 20:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Their tracks on the Dementia Rex split were heavily influenced by death metal, some sounding more like late '80s and early '90s DM than grindcore of any sort. 68.47.1.63 19:53, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
It's always a mess trying to categorize bands due to all subgenres. Goregrind bands generally have death metal influences, and when thinking of deathgrind, Haemorrhage isn't the first band that pops up. I think the genres should be kept to the ones most fitting, but it's never black and white... Meaningful Username 07:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
