Hadith of Thulfiqar is a famous Hadith in Islam.

This Hadith is not a primary hadith for anything it is just a hadith acknowledging Ali ibn Abi Talib was the most active and brave in the battle. The primary Hadith used to prove the succession of Ali after Muhammed is Al Ghadeer which is verified even in Sunni books.

The Angel Gabriel is reported as saying during the battle of Uhud:

لا فتى إلا على لا سيف إلا ذو الفقار
La fata illa `Ali, La saif illa dhu 'l-fiqar."
"There is no man but Ali, there is no sword but Zulfiqar"
