Habbus al-Muzaffar

Habbus bin Makhsen al-Muzaffar-ruler of Granada during 1025-1037 from Zirid dynasty. He succeedeed his uncle Zawi ben Ziwi. His first minister was Shmuel ha-Nagid, renowned Jewish scholar. During his time the prestige of the teif has strongly increased. Granada teif went with military campaigns against neighbor states and increased its territiry. Jewish population has increased to 5,000 in the city and Lucena flourished as Jewish scholar site. He had 2 sons Badis and Buluggin. He was succeeded by his son Badis ben Habbus.
