Ha'ir

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ha'ir (Hebrew: the city, העיר) is a weekly local newspaper published in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Until April 2005, Ha'ir was a paying newspaper, but after a major shakeup in the business structure of newspaper's publisher, The Shoken Group, Ha'ir is now distributed for free.

Ha'ir is published once a week on Thursday evening, and is distributed across the metropolitan of Tel-Aviv through newspaper stands.

Ha'ir was first published in October 1980.

One of Ha'ir's supplements is Akhbar Ha'ir (Hebrew: City Mouse, עכבר העיר), which is a guide for dining and entertainment in Tel Aviv.
