Héctor López (born February 1, 1967 in Mexico City) was a Mexican boxer who won the Bantamweight Silver medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
López began his professional career in 1985 as a Bantamweight but later moved up to lightweight and defeated former champion Juan LaPorte to set up a fight to challenge Miguel Angel Gonzalez for the WBC Lightweight Title in 1993. Lopez lost and moved up to Light Welterweight, losing to a young Kostya Tszyu in 1994. He later challenged Randall Bailey for the WBO Light Welterweight Title, but lost via a TKO in the 9th and he hung up his gloves in 2000.
