[edit] Hello!
This is Gwinva's user page. If you want to leave me a message, then please do so on my talk page.
[edit] My editing
I spend far too long at the computer. The current culprits are:
[edit] Current focus
- Horses in the Middle Ages
- developing information on the medieval horse: Destrier, Rouncey, Courser (horse), Palfrey
[edit] On-going projects
- Foyle's War and associated pages
- Nigel Tranter and associated pages
We are always looking for contributions, so do drop in.
[edit] Doctor Who
I have watched Doctor Who since I was a child, first encountering him in the Jon Pertwee era. I have to admit to some falling off of interest during the Sylvester McCoy years, but with the new series, I have become re-enthused. Currently, I watch the Doctor Who pages and contribute to discussions, but I generally only make small edits since the project already has many excellent editors.
[edit] Satisfying pages
I have started and contributed to many pages but, for one reason or another, some of my articles or collaborations afford me much satisfaction. These include:
- Horses in the Middle Ages (Good Article)
- Horse transports in the Middle Ages (DYK on 16 March 2007)
- Westminster Stone theory
[edit] Reminders for the future
articles I would like to improve, when I get time: Jousting; Knight banneret; An Infamous Army; Destrier; Lance; bits of Cavalry etc Boiled leather, Barding, Tiltyard, Royal Armouries
