"Gwen 10" is the seventeenth episode of the American animated television series Ben 10, which first aired on 1 June 2006. It is set in an alternate reality where Gwen gets the Omnitrix instead of Ben.

[edit] Plot

While Ben is sleeping in the RV, Max and Gwen are filling up the RV's gas tank. As they are, two thugs on motorcycles try to leave with stolen things. Ben comes out, and, when wanting to be Fourarms, he finds the Omnitrix gone.

Meanwhile, Vilgax is attempting to take it from its owners, and survives the explosion. Grandpa Max takes out the thugs, and Gwen says it was amazing, while Ben says he's done it all summer. The others are confused, and Ben learns that it was the first day of summer. When the pod lands in the forest that night, Ben goes to retrieve it, but Gwen has it! She becomes Heatblast, Grey Matter, and Diamondhead, the latter to take out the probe.

The next day, Vilgax comes to get the Omnitrix. Then Gwen is taken to his ship to get it off her wrist. Max and Ben ram the ship, and the Omnitrix comes off Gwen's wrist, only to land on Max's. The ship is about to explode and Max becomes Upgrade, and they escape. The episode ends as a cliffhanger.

[edit] Trivia

  • This episode has no association with the main storyline, as the next episode picks up where the previous episode left off. This episode appears to be a "What If..." story.
  • This is the only episode to feature a narrator.
  • Gwen is credited as being better at using the Omnitrix than Ben as he admits so himself.
