The Gwari or Gbagi are one of the ethnic tribes in Middle belt of Nigeria. They are predominantly found in the Niger, and Kaduna States and the Federal Capital Territory. Gwariland was one of the few northern Nigeria states that suffered greatly at the hands of slave raiders.
