Gwangmyeong is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It borders Seoul on the north and northwest, Anyang on the east and south, and Siheung on the southwest.
Like other cities in the Seoul National Capital Area, Gwangmyeong is closely tied to the Seoul transportation network. Seoul Subway Line 7 passes through the city. It is also home to Gwangmyeong Station, a station on the Korean National Railroad serving KTX trains exclusively. It is the first station south of Seoul on the KTX.
