Again, welcome! --FloNight talk 04:34, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] cvg-stubs

I told you this once before, but instead of just putting {{cvg-stub}} in new articles, use ones such as {{action-cvg-stub}} for action games, {{sports-cvg-stub}} for sports games, etc, so it wouldn't create another backlog in the cvg-stub category. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games#Stubs for a full list of stub templates. Thunderbrand 18:34, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Joke articles

Please don't create nonsense articles. Thank you. Joyous | Talk 03:03, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

I ask for the same. TIA Pavel Vozenilek 21:11, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Male Feminist?

I'm sorry, but does that say you're male AND a feminist? If so, wow, that's rare. Juggaleaux 09:22, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Templeton motleyscrew1977.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Templeton motleyscrew1977.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:08, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lorraine Bergstram

I've listed this article for Speedy Delete - bio. I saw no claim to notability, and the article appears to exist to point out the individual's shortcomings. Rklawton 02:35, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Original authors are not permitted to remove speedy delete tags. This is considered vandalism - and it will be reported as such if you do it again. Instead, please follow the procedures outlined on the template. Rklawton 02:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

I came here to caution you about the removal of tags, but now see that the editor who originally placed the tag on this article (as well as the one at Marie Trainer) has already done so. I agree with the admonishment Rklawton.
I did disagree with Rklawton that the "speedy" process or even deletion was appropriate, although he certainly has a point about establishing why this biography ought to remain on Wikipedia (see WP:BIO). (I have also taken the liberty of correcting what appears to be an obvious error in his note on your talk page). I believe that the Articles for Deletion or {{prod}} process would be more appropriate. That brings me to the second reason why I came here, which is to let you know that a number of editors have had concerns with these two articles. I had to admit I had my own doubts when I first came across them, but was purhaps a bit more lienient and copyedited them instead. You may wish to spend some time addressing the concerns of editors if you wish for these articles to remain. Agent 86 04:41, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
For my part, I'll let this rest a couple of days to give you time to sort things out. Rklawton 04:44, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
  • As a courtesy, I thought I'd let you know that Marie Trainer has now been nominated for deletion. You can follow the debate here.

I moved your article to Lorraine Bergstrand. Please be careful as to the spelling of names when writing articles.--Roby0215 16:08, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk Page Blanking

Talk page blanking is not permitted. Rklawton 02:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Randy Mogridge

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Randy Mogridge, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Randy Mogridge. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Randy Mogridge.jpg)

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Randy Mogridge.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 17:47, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bias in 2003 Norfolk County municipal election

I removed the reference to Brian Decker as a college dropout as that maintains a baised position on this event. I also changed his name to Brian Decker from Stanley Decker. This article was also moved from 2004 to 2003 as it clearly took place in November of 2003. Please check your facts before writing articles, especially since this is referenced in other places on Wikipedia. Norfolk Election Result Roby0215 17:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

I corrected the names once again. Please do not reverse articles to include incorrect names and derrogatory references in your articles. Roby0215 03:01, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination Patriarchal marriage and Matriarchal marriage

I've nominated the articles Patriarchal marriage and Matriarchal marriage for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that these articles satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Patriarchal marriage and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matriarchal marriage. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of the articles during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. —Caesura(t) 15:51, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pumpkinfest (Waterford, Ontario)

I have nominated Pumpkinfest (Waterford, Ontario) for deletion at AfD. This article is essentially a re-creation of a previous article you created, Pumpkinfest, that was merged into Waterford, Ontario as a result of the AfD discussion on Pumpkinfest. This verges on re-creation of an article previously deleted by means of XfD and could conceivably qualify under the criteria for speedy deletion. Instead, I have chosen to give the benefit of the doubt. If you wish to contribute to the debate, follow the link to the AfD discussion. Agent 86 01:17, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hayleigh Owen

Hayleigh Owen has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NickelShoe (Talk) 15:26, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sorting stubs

Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks! Jibbles | Talk 19:46, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Another joke article

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Guiler, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Guiler. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Mr Stephen 08:44, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Character Soft

Character Soft has also been proposed for deletion. Relevant guidelines are at WP:CORP. NickelShoe (Talk) 04:36, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Guiler

Given the results of the Articles for Deletion discussion on Van Goethem, I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Guiler, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I do not believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). [edit] Kike Emporium and Canadian Music Season

Please stop creating these "joke" articles. You have been warned about this twice before. Adding nonsense to Wikipedia is considered vandalism, and you may be blocked from editing if you continue behaving thus. -- Merope 15:30, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for vandalism, and so has been blocked indefinitely.

[edit] Homosexuality in NASCAR

This article has been deleted as original research and unverified. NawlinWiki 14:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Track pants

Please do not make personal attacks on other people as you did at Track pants. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create such pages will be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: Overprotective

I've nominated the article Overprotective for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Overprotective satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Overprotective. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Overprotective during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. [edit] AfD nomination of A.J. Coyle

An article you created last month, A.J. Coyle, which claims that Doyle was the inventor of instant coffee has been nominated for deletion with the suggestion that the article is a hoax. I have done some investigation of this claim but inasmuch as you created the article, your input would be very welcome at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/A.J._Coyle#.5B.5BA.J._Coyle.5D.5D. Thanks, Newyorkbrad 01:37, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright problems with Image:Iginiostraffi.jpg

An image that you uploaded, Image:Iginiostraffi.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

[edit] Video game articles

Hey, do you think that you could announce your new video game articles in the future here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games/New article announcements. Thanks in advance ! JACOPLANE • 2007-01-11 13:58

Also, you should try to include an infobox in the articles you create. Here is an automated infobox maker that should speed up the process. Cheers, JACOPLANE • 2007-01-11 14:02

[edit] Caleçon

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Caleçon, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Elonka 04:38, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
