Guwahati Municipal Corporation

Guwahati Municipal Corporation or GMC in short is the local government in Guwahati. A municipal corporation is the highest form of a urban local body (ULB) in India. Presently, GMC covers an area of 216 km² under its jurisdiction and it is divided into 60 municipal wards.
