Guty Espadas Jr

Gustavo Espinosa Espadas Jr. (born September 2, 1974 in Mérida, Yucatán) was a Mexican boxer in the Featherweight division.
Espadas Jr. turned pro in 1992 and in 2000 won the Vacant WBC Featherweight Title by winning a technical decision over Luisito Espinosa in the 11th round. He defended the belt once before losing a close decision to Erik Morales in 2001. In 2003 he rematched Morales but was KO'd in the 3rd round. He retired in 2004 after getting KO'd by Rocky Juarez in the 2nd round.
Espadas's father, Guty Espadas, was a World Flyweight champion in the 1970's.
