[edit] Tokio Hotel Band history
The identical twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz (born September 1st, 1989) performed in talent shows from an early age. They later made friends with Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing. The four boys' similar taste in music led them to form a band called Devilish. After they auditioned in a talent show in 2003, they were approached by the music executive Peter Hoffman. After signing with Universal they were given a new image and the new name "Tokio Hotel" for marketing purposes.
