GuruLib is a free online personal library database where you can easily keep track of your software, games, movies, books and music. GuruLib is designed to automatically organise and categorise your collection with the smallest amount of data entry possible. Items can be added by ISBN, UPC codes, title searching or manual entry. A book shelf metaphor is used to help identify the location of your cataloged item.

GuruLib is similar to LibraryThing in that it retrieves details and cover images from Amazon.com. In addition to Amazon, GuruLib can access over 530 public libraries around the world to collect information about a book, movie, music, game or software. You can add your local library or your university library to GuruLib if they support Z39.50 library network.

GuruLib also allows cataloging of PDF, DOC, PPT, PS and XLS documents. This feature helps students and researchers to keep track of their reference papers. If you are interested in keep track and be notified about your borrowed books, DVDs, music, games or software, GuruLib can do that. In addition, a price trigger will notify you when an item in your wish list reaches the target price that you are looking for.
