Gup

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gup is a Korean term used in martial arts, baduk, and in other similar activities to designate various degrees, levels of proficiency, or experience.

Gup-level practitioners usually hold the ranks below black belt or 1st Dan rank. In Korean martial arts, different coloured belts and uniform trim are used to mark gup grades.
