[edit] This part is untrue.
"A pirated copy of the Commodore 64 version of Gunship was in circulation for months before the official release of the game. A member of the Commodore 64 pirate group "EagleSoft" had broken into the apartment of one of the game's programmers and stolen his floppy disks. However, the early cracked version of the game distributed by EagleSoft was hardly playable since the game was still far from finished. EagleSoft still received a certain amount of notoriety for this act of arrogance."
The only thing true is that Eaglesoft released the C64 version of Gunship. There was no breakin, the game was fully functional (and still distributed on the Internet today) and was not released "months" before the game was released commercially. "Arrogance" is nothing more than an editorial from the author of this segment. Complete bilge.
