Guntur Institute of Medical Sciences/Guntur Medical College is a premier Medical Institute in India. It is one of the Medical Colleges in Guntur, offering both graduate (Masters) and under-graduate (Bachelors) courses in Medical Sciences. It is located in the heart of the city of Guntur, India.

The college is currently affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences. But it is in the process to become autonomous as Guntur Institute of Medical Sciences.

The college works in conjunction with Guntur General Hospital - a round the clock tertiary hospital with 1500 beds. The Hospital caters to the health needs of the public of the entire coastal belt of Andhra Pradesh, INDIA.

The college first campus was established in 1946 in the center of the City near Central Train Station. It was initially affiliated to Andhra University and then with Acharya Nagarjuna University. The College has conducted Medical & health expo/exhibitions during the years 1956, 1958, 1960, 1971, 1977, 1984 and 1996.
