Gunnar Þór Gíslason is an Icelandic businessman who is and has been the chairman of Stoke City F.C. since 1999. At the time he was the youngest chairman in the football league.

He is not a board member of the holding company, Stoke Holding.

He resigned as chairman of Stoke City on Monday 22nd May 2006.
