[edit] Were there actually real snuff films?

I want to have something clear, were they actually real snuff films on which upon the first 2 GP movies were based on? Or just some marketing scheme? El Chompiras 11:07, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

If you actually read the article you'd know that they are not snuff films, just based on murders and such--SUIT 19:14, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] article states that first movie was a re-enactment of an actual snuff film

upon reasearch of snuff on this website it stated that flowers of flesh and blood was based on a snuff 8mm film that was sent to Hideshi Hino whi in turn gave it ot police , but as of now their has never been one report of a snuff film on record ,so my question is does snuff films really exist , or did Hideshi Hino use this as a marketing campagin for his film he created flowers of flesh and blood . Since it states that both snuff films ( the films 1&2 ) were turned over to authories , their has never been mention of it in recorded media its always been hearsay on the interent ....any insight would be welcome ! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Metalfab (talk • contribs) 20:34, 26 February 2007 (UTC).
