When Jen's estranged mother, Helen, unexpectedly arrives in Capeside on Thanksgiving morning, Dawson confronts her about her secret past involving Eve, and makes a decision to help bridge the gap between Jen and Helen Lindley. Meanwhile, Jen continues to pursue a new type of friendship with Pacey. Mitch and Gail make known to Dawson the future of the Leery family. Also, Jack and Andie end up attending the Thanksgiving feast after being left alone for the day.
