Guerin Austin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Guerin Austin is a beauty queen from Omaha, Nebraska who has competed in the Miss USA pageant.

Austin won the Miss Nebraska USA 2004 title in a state pageant held in late 2003. It was her second attempt at the title, as she placed as a semi-finalist in the 2002 event. Two of the semi-finalists in the competition which she won were Emily Poeschl and Geneice Wilcher, both of whom would also later win the Miss Nebraska USA title.

Austin represented Nebraska in the nationally televised Miss USA 2004 pageant broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. She failed to place in the pageant, which was won by Shandi Finnessey of Missouri. Both Austin and Finnessey were representatives of the Vanbros organization in their positions as state titleholders.

Austin grew up as a military brat, and moved over twenty times. She attended Poulsbo Junior High in Poulsbo, Washington during her 8th grade year.[1]
