Gudavalli

Gudavalli is a village 33 miles east of Guntur City in Guntur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Abode of freedom fighters, age old lord Lakshmi Narasimha temple.

A minor panchayat with a population of 2,632 it boasts of 3 primary and 2 secondary schools, an I.T.I. college with a literacy rate of 76%, a health centre, a public library with radio and satellite TV facility, per capita income of $1356.

The majority of the population are Hindus, telugu widely spoken across.

The chief source of income is agriculture with paddy as the major crop and rice as the staple food.

The muslim and Christian population forms a minority contributing partly to the all round development of the village reflecting the Indian way of life unity in diversity.

Gudavalli is easily accessible on road from nearest railway stations at Tenali, Ponnuru, Guntur, Vijayawada.
