Gudauri

Gudauri is a ski resort located in the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia. It is situated in Kazbegi Region,on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountain near the Cross Pass, at the height of 2,196 m. It is 120km from capital Tbilisi, trip takes usually two hours. Gudauri offers high quality skiing opportunities, its slopes are best for free-riders and it is avalanche-safe. Skiing season lasts from December to April. Heli Ski is also available throughout the season.

The first, lower lift station is at 1,990m and the last, top station is at 3,007m, called Kudebi. The lifts are by Doppelmayer. The first lift is 1,010 m long (three chairs), second – 2,310 m long (four chairs) and third – 1,060 m long (three chairs). Lift usually works from 10 to 16-17.
