[edit] Trude Dybendahl merger with Trude Dybendahl Hartz

FYI. I merged the two articles into Trude Dybendahl and had the Trude Dybendahl Hartz article redirected to Trude Dybendahl. Thanks for catching that. Chris 17:31, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Abdel Frasheri

Hi. I read about Abdel Frasheri in my Polish book and I based an article in its. This book is meant like "The Chronicle of Sport". Regards, Szoltys 08:35, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for catching the errors on the Swedish relay team in 1954

Thanks for catching the Arthur Olsson link for the 1954 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. An article on Olsson has been created. I also put the link for Stephanie Böhler as well. Have a nice day. Chris 14:21, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for the catch on Skobov

Thanks for the correction on the Yuri Skobov article. With User:SndrAndrss being blocked right now and in the process of getting himself indefinitely blocked right now, we may be able to repair some of the damage that he is done which is quite extensive from what I have seen so far. [edit] All the right moves

I agree that those moves were crazy. I have left a note for an administrator interested in Russian transliteration issues. You may also want to apply for help to another admin, Alex Bakharev. --Ghirla -трёп- 14:46, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Romanization issues

Well, lucky you; you have found the person who actually enjoys doing this kind of cleanup :) I'll take care of the cases above and go through the category. If you find anything else of this sort, please don't hesitate to let me know—I'll help gladly. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:37, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

OK, the cleanup is now complete. Bring more! :)—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 16:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, the "mistakes" are not necessarily mistakes—there is more than one system for romanizing Russian, with each one having its uses. The problem is not that those systems are wrong (they are not), but that using more than one system in something that's supposed to be a standardized reference is confusing. That's exactly why one system has been adopted, and that is WP:RUS. There is, of course, room for exceptions (common English usage, personal preferences of the person about whom an article is written, etc.), but overall, the more standardized the spelling is, the better.
Anyway, Kiselyov is now taken care of. If you find more in future, just drop me a note. Thanks!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 20:21, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gunnar and Harald Eriksson

I did not know that they were separate people. I got most of this information off of FIS. If you can fix this with the information you have, then by all means do so. Thanks. Chris 19:52, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
