[edit] Depopulating categories...

I wanted to let you know that depopulating categories prior to or during a discussion on CFD is usually a bad thing. Re Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2006_March_20#Category:Hamilton_Steelhawks_players, now someone has to move the items that were there originally back into it. It would have saved you the initial work, and saved someone else the work now, if you had waited to see what the consensus was. No hard feelings, just something to note for next time. :) --Syrthiss 15:48, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

I created the Hamilton Steelhawks players category when I created the Paul Laus article. It was at that point I realized the alumni category existed and moved him over there. The rest of them were already in the alumni category. In the future, however, I will be sure not to depopulate any categories. -- GTWeasel 19:09, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted you to know that I put this category, which you created, up for renaming to Category:Cincinnati Cyclones players. [edit] Moncton Hawks (AHL)

I have made a request to have Category:Moncton Hawks (AHL) players and Category:Moncton Hawks (AHL) renamed to simply Category:Moncton Hawks players and Category:Moncton Hawks. You can find that discussion here. In addition, I'd like to see Moncton Hawks be the main page for the team, instead of having the (in my opinion) unnecessary redirect to Moncton Hawks (AHL).
